Nikon 24 Megapixel Rumors | How to Create a Catalog | New Photoshop Tutorial | Layers TV Contest Winner
So this is an interesting post. Checking out the DP Review site, I saw a forum post that talked about a peek into the firmware of the Nikon D3 (The most amazing camera on this round circle we call home.. except for the price). The interesting thing about this firmware peek is that it alludes to the Nikon D3 being able to morph into a 24MP behemoth, which aims the barrels directly at the 1DS-Mark III.
For me personally, I would find it very hard to find a justification for using a 24MP camera, but I can find an endless amount of reasons for using the D3. The only interesting part, if this is true, would be how much would it drive the cost down for the D3. That in itself would be very exciting indeed. Good luck on that though..
Great Graphic Design Articles in the Wild
Elle Phillips has got a neat article on Designing a catalog from Conception to Completion on the AG Design website. It’s a really cool research piece that gives you a good look at the process of designing a catalog as a whole. Directly under that they have another article that talks about the Logo Design process by Angela Ferraro-Fanning at 13thirtyone Design. I don’t know why – I’ve always loved looking at logo design.. it’s just cool. One of these days, I may even finish my own logo. Who knows.
