		<description>as far as I remember the best lens for portraits are between 85 and 135mm...if you go too high like 300mm you get the opposite distortion effect..like proportions are not correct anymore.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s been over 20 years but back when I went to school for photography we were taught to take portraits with a 135 lens.  I paid for a good fixed 135 2.8 lens and have always used it for any portrait.    It has not occurred to me that this is no longer taught, or that it is not common knowledge.</description>
