Living In Layers - The OFFICIAL Layers Magazine Blog
Photoshop Antelope | The Life of a Blog | Web Gallery in Photoshop | Contest Winner

While this may not necessarily be the best lead off in a creative blog, I will say this – it involves Photoshop, so that’s good enough for me
Here’s the back story: China built the Qinghai-Xizang railway right through the breeding grounds of the Chiru (an endangered species of antelope found only in China). Then China offers this photo up as proof that the train and the Chiru can co-exist peacefully. The image, “uncovered by Chinese internet users who sniffed out a Photoshop scam in the award-winning picture, has brought on a big debate about media ethics, China’s troubled relationship with Tibet, and how pregnant antelope react to noise….”
In other news, Adobe officially launched AIR today. If you are not familiar with the technology, it’s a good idea to head over to the Adobe web site to check it out. I have a good feeling about AIR. Go there on this link.
We have a Flash animation on the life of a blog, web gallery tutorials, and a contest winner. You know you want to – jump!
