Photoshop User TV, CSS, and a Swing Chair!
Hey everyone, first off I wanted to urge all of you to head over to Photoshop User TV. This week, both Corey and I are on there hosting the show with Scott Kelby. Corey has got a cool sand effect, while I talk about a couple of tips to keep in mind when making websites in Photoshop. Definitely an interesting episode to check out:

Troubleshooting CSS in Dreamweaver
Janine Warner takes us on a trip and helps to figure out problems in CSS using Dreamweaver:
Dreamweaver CS3 provides a great collection of tools for creating page designs with CSS, but when it comes to altering and troubleshooting CSS, things can get confusing in a hurry. To help you sort through the options, this column focuses on some of the challenges you may face when working with CSS.
1 PROBLEM: CONFLICTING STYLES
It’s easier than you might imagine to create conflicts by applying two or more different styles using CSS. For example, let’s say you redesign your website, creating a new style for your H1 tags with a white text color. But when you look at the pages in your site, many headlines still display in a green color from your old design. There can be many possible causes, but if you don’t remember all of the old styles or you’ve taken over a site created by someone else, the next step offers you a few tips for diagnosing this kind of problem. ……

New Product Alert: Swingchair!
So, this morning I was sitting in my office and got a message from my friend Kevin to come and check out something in his office. I went over and saw that he had just unboxed a Swingchair. Sat in it… MMMMMMM, now that felt really good. The concept is very cool: The bottom of the chair moves independently of the back. If you bend down to pick something up, it angles with you. Same thing happens if you lean back. The one thing that I noticed was that it felt really good on my back. Spending a lot of time sitting at a desk working on stuff, I’ve noticed that my back isn’t what it used to be, even as a thirty-something. This may be something that may find its way into my office soon. If you want to check it out, click on this link to the Swingchair website.
That’s it for today everyone. We’ll see you guys back here tomorrow.

In one episode of Layers TV, you showed how to subscribe to the HD version of LayersTV. But the HD version is now 3 episodes behind. The tutorials are much better viewed in HD, but I don’t want to subscribe to that format if it is not going to be updated. Thanks for continuing to provide a great program, RC and Corey.

RC
On this weeks Photoshop User TV you gave a tip about screen sizes and demonstrated a 955×600 size for the 1024×768 size. Do you have a list available for all the other screen sizes from 800×600 to 1280×1024?

The problem with the Swingchair is that when you lean back you literally feel like you’re going to slide out of your seat as the angle between the seat back and the seat approaches 180 degrees.
