Placing Native Illustrator Art (.ai) in InDesign

If some of your Illustrator CS2 artwork is not contained within the Artboard Area, it will be cropped off when the Image is Placed in InDesign. This is a change from previous versions of Illustrator, in that Document Setup (Artboard Size) used to have NO effect on the art itself, just what would print or not print when printing out of Illustrator.

If some of your art is being cut off when you Place it in InDesign, make sure all of the art is contained on the Artboard in Illustrator. If the art is too big to fit, simply make the Artboard bigger by going to File > Document Setup.
