Preview as You Link

I first saw the new loaded brush icon with its large preview of type as I was linking text from Frame to Frame. I thought, “Isn’t that cute, InDesign is letting me know that I’m linking text.” Then I took a closer look and realized that the brush was loaded with the beginning of the actual copy that I was linking. Now that’s not only cool, it’s really useful, which I discovered immediately. As I read the miniature version of my copy, I realized that I was about to Link my Story to the wrong Frame.
