		<description>Taz, great post.  I know it&#039;s old, but still useful.  Printing proofs is very hard for a novice...lots of wasted paper and ink!

		<description>I question on your use of of Web Uncoated for the CMYK profile. It is my opinion that this profile is designed for printing on web presses, which most people will not be doing.

Our shop has standardized on the US Sheetfed Coated v2 and US Sheetfed Uncoated v2 profiles as our baseline. The sheetfed press is much more common among designers that will be getting their work printed on press. We vary the profile based on what type of stock will be used on our presses.</description>
