Putting Default Colors at Your Fingertips
The default colors for an object in Illustrator are a white fill with a 1 point black stroke. Sometimes I’ll get a little carried away experimenting with Color, Patterns, Gradients and Effects and I want to get back to the default fast. All I have to do is remember “D” is for default. And with the object or objects selected, I press the “D” key, and I’m back to the basic default fill and stroke.
