Red Shoots One Over The Bow | Iframe in Dreamweaver | Layers TV Winner

So it appears today is D Day for RED.  First it was Nikon’s D90 making video.  Then Canon jumped in with the 5DMKII videos- and there was much rejoicing.  However, there was as small group in he audience that sat in the back and said “bah.. if you think that’s something.. wait until you see RED”.   For the Uninitiated, RED (www.red.com) is a company that makes video cameras.  Film Quality cameras.  Very expensive, super high quality, amazing truly mortgage the house costing cameras.  These cameras have been seen as the piece de la resistance for Videographers, so many of them fell silent awaiting what RED’s response to all of this was.

Today was the Day RED was to announce a new Digital Still and Motion Camera, and boy did they.  It looks like you have your choice of Brain, then a multitude of configurable options- Its like Lego meets super camera.  My first initial reaction was that this camera easily will be at a much higher pricepoint than any one from the Canon and Nikon camps.. and the amount of Megapixels and size would compete more in the Hasseblad/Mamiya spaces..   I also thought this would be more of a videographer dream than a camera owner dream.. so on the surface it feels a little anticlimactic.  Maybe I should just let it settle for a bit.

IFrames in Dreamweaver
Geoff Blake Takes us through using IFrames in Dreamweaver CS4. I particularly like the application of the IFrame in the tentonbooks.com website.. so that was kind of cool.

This camera is just beautiful, it does look like is ready to “Shoot” in a tactical-weapon sort of way.

How much is it? I don’t see a price tag on the camera.
