Requirements
Any images submitted for judging must be the work and property of the entrant, with all rights granted therein. Adobe and Layers magazine (Layers' parent company is Kelby Media Group) are not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant. Modifying, enhancing, or altering someone else's existing artwork does not qualify as an original creation; however, stock photography may be used and modified in your entries. Third-party plug-ins and other applications may be used to create your artwork, but the primary tool for the creation of your entry must be an application in the Adobe Creative Suite. Entries must not defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any personal or proprietary rights of any third party.

Ownership and License
All entry materials become the property of the Sponsors (Adobe, Layers magazine) and will not be acknowledged or returned. The copyright in any Submission shall remain the property of the entrant, but entry into this competition constitutes entrant's irrevocable and perpetual permission and consent, without further compensation or attribution, to use, reproduce, print, publish, transmit, distribute, sell, perform, adapt, enhance, or display such submission for any purpose, including but not limited to editorial, advertising, and publicity purposes by the Sponsors in any and all media now in existence or hereinafter created, throughout the world, for the duration of one year of submission. Sponsors have the right to edit, adapt, and modify the submission. All submissions may, at Sponsors' discretion, be posted online on adobe.com and/or layersmagazine.com and other websites as entry constitutes consent to Sponsors' posting entries on the Internet.

Prize Transfers or Substitutions
No prize or any portion is transferable or redeemable for cash. Any portion of the prize that is not used is forfeited. No substitutions for prize except by Sponsors, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.
