Sherry London
Sherry London was told in college that her main aptitudes were as an artist, a writer, and a teacher. She has done all three. For a number of years, she worked as a digital retoucher for a local photo studio. She is the author of a number of books on Photoshop, Painter, and Illustrator. Her most recent book is Photoshop 7 Magic (New Riders, 2002). Sherry writes for a number of magazines. She currently writes the QuickTips column for Photoshop User magazine as well as feature articles and reviews for both Photoshop User and Mac Design magazines. She has taught for the prestigious Thunder Lizard Photoshop Conference and at Professional Photographer’s of America seminars as well as at area colleges.
Sherry is the owner of London Computing: PhotoFX, a digital art studio. She provided online technical support on CompuServe for the Adobe forum for four years. She has taught at Drexel University, Moore College of Art, and Gloucester County College.
Her articles and reviews have appeared in MacWeek, MacUser, Macworld, Computer Artist, Electronic Publishing, Desktop Publishing, and Pre- magazines.
Her Photoshop-designed fiber art has been featured in Fiber Arts magazine and exhibited at juried Embroiderer’s Guild of America Fiber Forum group shows nation-wide.
