		<description>ok, for anyone having problems, you MUST unselect the fill button when expanding, this will make sure the image hasnt got a background, and when using the blob tool, when you select it, on the colours tab you should choose oth the fill and the edge as black, but make sure nothing is selected or that will turn black.

		<description>Great Tutorials, as it finally got me to where I NEED to be but I still dislike Illustrator. Just from my own experience, too many things to remember. Very frustrating software to learn and realizing Illustrator is very finicky!!

		<description>mmm, i think it&#039;s easier if you double click on the object and select a white shape, then go to select---&gt; same---&gt; fill color, paint everything black, then use the pathfinder---&gt;unite.
