The Strobist Wants Feedback, Fireworks in the UK, New Tutorial, & Scott Kelby’s D300 Review

8:00AM NEWS UPDATE:
Scott Kelby has got a great camera review over on his blog – The Photoshop Insider. I’m still playing around with my Nikon D300, so I know that I’ll be heading over there for a re-read. Be sure to take a peek!
back to your regularly scheduled blog program…
Couple of interesting posts that have gone up in the blogosphere, so I figured I’d share them:
David at The Strobist has posted a cool blog survey wanting to find about a little more about his readership. In short, he is asking two questions – who are you, and what do you want from me? If you haven’t visited The Strobist, the site is chock full of tutorials, assignments, tips, and gear recommendations for anyone who is working with flash and a camera. I have to say, it’s one site that I continuously go to for information and inspiration, and I encourage all of you to make it part of your own daily routine.
John Oxton and John Hicks host a podcast called The Rissington Podcast that deals with all sorts of web-related goodness. Alan Musselman over at the Fireworks Blog turned us on to the show because one segment deals with why you would work with Fireworks. To me, Fireworks is a program that I love to go into when I want to get a great layout for a website all setup. As much as I love Photoshop, I just happen to think that Fireworks is WAY easier to use, and perfect for the design comp process. Make sure you check them out.
Last, but certainly not least, Cheryl Graham has got a great tutorial on Photoshop and Illustrator integration with Smart Objects. Make sure you go to the Tutorials Section and check her out!
Have a great Thursday everyone!
