The X-Factor of a Quick Change Artist
You’ve been adding fills and then strokes to various objects by clicking on the Fill box in the Color palette, then clicking on a Swatch, then clicking on the Stroke box in the Color palette, and clicking on another Swatch, before finally going on to the next object and repeating this tedious process again. After adding quite a few fills and strokes, you say, “There has to be a better way.”
There is, if you know about the X-factor. “What’s the X-factor?” you ask. Press the “X” key on your keyboard and you’ll see for yourself as you switch from a fill to stroke selection far faster than the speediest mouse clicker. A single finger on your trusty X key could shorten your fill and stroke process by 50%. Now that’s a quick change artist.
