Couldn't get Dreamweaver to preview the Quicktime video
Mac Leopard (duocore) CS4

THe URL for the apple quicktime link you use in your article didn't work but this did
http://apple.com/quicktime/download/
I'm trying to put together a media resource page for my Dreamweaver class, comments appreciated
The quicktime insert is the curling video

I've started using mp4 (designed for iPod) video files on my website because it is a smaller file and seems to work as well (actually loads video files much more quickly) as .mov (in the 320 x 240 format anyway). BUT does that make sense? It's tough know whether to go with .mov vs. Flash for example - especially when your dealing with lots of different browsers (IE does not like embedded movie files for example). I guess what I'm asking is what is the best video format to use nowadays?

Why are there white bars in the last picture?
Does transparecny need to be added like flash?
wmode = transparent?
Or are they supposed to be in that particular video?

Hi,
Thanks for posting this. Because I think in the help says to just add a link to the video. I'm not sure which way I like better but I think I'll check out the Apple page to learn more.
Thanks

That was a great tutorial, for I do that all the time and to have a more detailed description helps. I would like to see a detail one like that for flash video, because when I export my flash video from final cut and get it all ready to go, it works when I save and preview in browser, but when I go to the live page online, it doesn't show up. Very Frustrating.
