Welcome to the brand new redesign of Layers Magazine – the How-To magazine for everything Adobe. We’re really excited about the change, and I think that once you take a look around, you’ll be excited as well.

We tried, and I think succeeded, in getting everything boiled down to just what you need, right when you need it, all in one place. I will be your tour guide through what’s new and notable, interesting, or just plain cool in the world of design. Every day we’ll talk about all things design, and we’ll share some gems that we have right on the website.

If you’ll notice the Flash player in the upper right of the homepage – that’s Layers TV – the How-To podcast for everything Adobe. Every Wednesday we’ll bring you a new episode where we’ll dissect and discuss what it’s like working through the Adobe applications. This week’s episode is a ghoulishly special one. We’ve created a new intro for the show, and in the episode we teach you how to rebuild it in a very short time. I think you’ll really like it.

I’m also equally as excited to tell you that my friend Matt Kloskowski (pictured above) is also contributing to the site on a daily basis. We are the first feature syndicator of Matt’s Photoshop CS3 Killer Tips podcast. Every day Matt will give us a nugget of Photoshop CS3 wisdom. Just click on the Killer Tips window and watch the video right on the homepage.

Now remember, we’re not just a blog and a killer tip. Inside the site there are tons of tips, columns, features, and reviews. So take a look around. You’ll like what you see.
